Goldline International and Disney Celebrate Disney's 50th Animated Film with Commemorative Coin
"Tangled" Commemorative Coin Available Exclusively To Patrons at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre
Santa Monica, CA - October 29, 2010 - Goldline International, Inc. announced today that the company is the official sponsor of an exclusive, limited quantity Disney commemorative coin in celebration of the release of Disney's 50th full-length animated film "Tangled" at Hollywood's historic El Capitan Theatre.
"We're honored to celebrate this exciting Disney milestone by making this exclusive coin available to Disney fans of all ages," said Mark Albarian, President and CEO of Goldline. Albarian noted that it is Goldline's 50th anniversary in the rare coins and precious metals industry.
"The El Capitan is thrilled to honor this historic event by offering each of our guests a special commemorative coin sponsored by Goldline celebrating 'Tangled' as Disney's 50th Animated Movie," said Lylle Breier, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Special Events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. "It's a way of celebrating this hilarious and hair-raising new animated adventure as only the El Capitan can."
While supplies last, the commemorative coins will be made available to every guest attending Disney's "Tangled" film during its engagement at Hollywood's famous El Capitan Theatre, which will play the film from November 24 through December 16, 2010.
Based on the fairy tale of Rapunzel, "Tangled" is the 50th full length animated film created by Walt Disney Animation Studios, a legacy that began with 1937's legendary "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." When the kingdom's most wanted-and most charming-bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) seeks refuge in a mysterious tower, he's taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn's curious captor, who's looking for her ticket out of the tower where she's been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs. "Tangled" is a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair-lots of hair.
The El Capitan show includes an all-new musical revue starring many favorite Disney characters and introducing Rapunzel and Flynn in their first live onstage appearance. Tickets can be purchased at www.elcapitantickets.com. The El Capitan will also offer a special "Tea Party with Rapunzel" in the theater's lower lounge on select days, which includes hot tea and tea sandwiches, along with a commemorative photo with Rapunzel herself. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
